Flexibility is the Key to Content Marketing Success
If you’ve ever done research into any type of content marketing, you’ve probably been told to stick with a plan. At Charlotte Content Marketing, we agree that this is great advice, but we also know from experience that things don’t always work out the way you planned.
Should You Use AI-Generated Content?
The following post coincides with a recent video we posted about the use of AI-generated content. In the video, Charlotte Content Marketing Founder Andrew Rusnak discusses why using AI-generated content may be a bad idea for your customers and for SEO.
He also talks about the concept of originality and helpfulness in content and points out how AI-generated content has no original thought behind it. After all, LLMs like ChatGPT only base their responses on their training data. This means that any content derived from AI will always be some form of regurgitated content that already exists.
Ethics in Content Marketing: Is Omission Unethical?
In the latest episode of The Charlotte Content Marketing Podcast, I discuss the issue of ethics in content marketing. More specifically, I cover the topic of omission and discuss whether leaving out information is unethical.
I believe this topic is crucial for all business owners. From enterprise-level corporations down to local retailers and everything in between, it’s vital to consider whether what you’re doing in your marketing is ethical or not.
In this post, we’re going to examine ethics in marketing as a general topic, but we’re going to look more into omission in marketing. I want all of our clients here at Charlotte Content Marketing to have a better understanding of what we consider ethical and unethical. Beyond that, however, I want to provide you with tips and some things to think about when it comes to content marketing and ethics.
