Jay McDermott is a professional videographer and photographer based in Charlotte, known for capturing dynamic, cinematic content. He specializes in providing clients with unique cinematography solutions that tell brand stories and engage customers.
Born in New Jersey, Jay eventually moved to Florida for two decades before making Charlotte his home. With vast knowledge of drone operations and cinematography, and as an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, he seamlessly combines aerial and ground perspectives to create compelling visual storytelling.
Jay is also the owner of Halfback Drones in Indian Trail where he provides drone services that include construction aerial photography and orthomosaic mapping.
